“Thank you.. thank you.. thank you.. I am utterly amazed at the response from H4H followers – who would have thought that a small, cheeky, slightly knackered, driving pony would have been so popular. Of the four applications, I showed preference to those that communicated with me by messaging and finding out more about the pony first, before making their applications. The applicant that will be taking him home showed a real understanding of his needs – ie a driving pony primarily who is also good around children, but is not a plodding first ridden. The fact that his new owner lives just 5 miles away from me, and shares a livery with two of my acquaintances is just icing on the cake. I did not know of his new owner before this application. I am super impressed with the service provided by H4H – the personal communication, the screening service for potential homes – all that passed through as potential homes would have been more than adequate for his needs. What I like most is that H4H provides a portal for honest communication between owner & potential owner of the horses history, needs and abilities.
Thank you for drafting the agreement – I visited Stacy’s livery on New Year’s Day and met with her referees and vet. All have been extremely complementary. And in the case of the livery, exemplary. Lancelot is going to be spoiled! I think Stacy and I will be friends. I will help her learning to drive, and she’s going to introduce me to horse agility.
I have already made a donation to the H4H charity, and, as soon as finances allow, will be matching the donation Stacy is making to transfer ownership.”
Thankyou again,
Louise.
