A friend recommended the charity to me and I can honestly say it has helped to take so much stress out of a difficult situation. They carefully match applicants and ask some great questions that you perhaps wouldn’t think to ask, especially if you feel under pressure to find a home quite quickly. The fact that all initial communication is done through the website is great and keeps both parties safe. Although Horses4Homes couldn’t guarantee that my horses could be re-homed together they advised me to mention in my ad that I would prefer them to be re-homed together and put the reference numbers on.
I was very fortunate that our re-homer found us and wanted to take both horses. Horses for Homes were there for both myself and the re-homer to answer any queries and always responded very quickly.
If needed they would have visited the potential new home however I was within reasonable travelling distance and so was able to this myself. Horses4Homes kept in touch through the whole process and were available to offer guidance and support. They were brilliant in arranging the contract of our loan and very swift to get the documents to us. This helped to alleviate so much stress and ensured that both parties were working together for the benefit of the horses.
