Within 24 hours of being listed on Horses4Homes Villy found the perfect applicant.
Villy was listed with Horses4Homes after being with her owner for over 5 years and had done everything including affiliated dressage. Sadly she had inflammation of her suspensory ligament that meant she could no longer do the high level dressage her owner enjoyed, also with a young child she no longer had the time to do her justice so made the sad decision to find a new loving home.
Villy is a 16.3hh, 10 year old, lovely looking Warmblood. She was advertised on Horses4homes as a hack and light schooling and attracted a lot of interest.
In the end after a number of wonderful applicants for Villy, the new loanee was decided, a mother and daughter from Durham. The mother enjoyed hacking and her 14 yo daughter was looking for something experienced to take to a few local dressage competitions. Her new home sounded amazing so Villy’s owner invited them to come and trial Villy.
Villy has now been in her new home a couple of weeks. This is what Villy’s new loanee had to say
“Thank you so much for your help and support in loaning Villy. The whole process was so easy from start to finish.
I found the link for homes4horses completely by accident on facebook. As soon as I saw the photo of Villy I had a gut feeling that she was the horse I had been looking for. Villy has settled in fantastically well after a few small teething problems. The girls love her to bits.
I keep in touch with Barbara, Villy’s owner, on a regular basis, keeping her up to date with how Villy is settling in. Barbara has been brilliant in offering help and advice on how best to make the transition as easy for Villy as possible.
I will continue to recommend your service to all my friends and to post your notifications on my facebook page. You are doing a brilliant job which is so worthwhile and much needed as you hear so many nightmare stories about loans going wrong.
Thank you again for helping us find friends for life.”
