Update on Delia after 18 months in her new home.
Lovely update recently from Nicole who rehomed Delia 18 months ago. Delia was listed back in 2013 and was not the easiest of horses due to her quirky nature. Nicole applied and through the honest listing of the owner was more than aware of the challenge she had. Here is what Nicole had to say last week when we got in touch to see how things were going.
“Me and Dee are doing brilliantly, I’ve had her 18 months now and in the past 4 months or so it’s just clicked. Our bond is stronger, we’re having so much fun together. She definitely takes a while to trust people, but every day she is growing in confidence in her own ability. We love getting out and about, boxing out for more hacking and recently started to do cross country schooling. She hacks out brilliantly by herself now, and is ridden by my 9 year old daughter, and some friends every now and again all ranging from beginner to experienced. Dee is so good with everyone, such a genuine horse who really tries her best. She is my everything, I couldn’t be without her now.”
Such a warming feeling. Well done Nicole, you really have given a horse another chance.
