The Elise Pilkington Trust Supports Horses4Homes

FebeiroHorses4Homes is delighted with the news that it has been successful in its grant application to The Elise Pilkington Trust. The Trust was set up in 1979 and in the last decade alone has helped over 50 equine charities with grants totalling an impressive £900,000. A spokesman from Elise Pilkington says:
The Elise Pilkington Charitable Trust were keen to support Horses4Homes as they do a great job to help bridge the gap between those wanting a horse and those needing to rehome a horse. This seems to be a great resource in the current difficult financial climate.”
The funds awarded will allow Horses4Homes to further raise its profile and encourage more horse owners to use their tried and tested rehoming model which is proving so successful and revolutionising the equine rehoming sector.
Rebecca Evans, Development and Rehoming Manager for Horses4Homes has spoken of her gratitude at being granted the award.
The grant will enable us to spend much-needed funds on raising the profile of the organisation through advertising and marketing.  The horse crisis in the UK is a very real problem, Horses4Homes strikes at the heart of this problem with the system and service it provides to owners who want the very best of homes for their horses but need an effective system and support service to find that home. The grant will help the charity to become a household name to horse owners who want to rehome their horses as safely as possible.
The increasing number of horses needing new homes in the UK has seen the charity successfully rehome 168 equines in 2013 alone so far, with many new horses being listed daily. This additional grant will ensure the charity continues to move from strength to strength.
