“I found Horses4Homes after making the difficult decision to rehome my lovely boy Donny. I had a new baby and less money coming in so planned to sell him on but he failed a flexion test so I had to reassess his future. Heavy riding was off the cards but I wanted to find a laid-back ridden home for him and an owner I could trust – I was very wary of adverts looking for companion horses in case he ended up sold on or worse ended up being exported for meat now his value had reduced. Donny is now settling into his new home, only half an hour from his old stables and I’m in regular contact with his new owner.
