Description

Roonie is a lovely little character who sadly has n0t been given enough time. Bereavement, grown up children and a change in family circumstances mean we are sadly having to rehome our lovely family ponies. He is heavily bonded to our beautiful New Forest Pony also listed on this site and we would love them to go together.

He has not been ridden much at all in our 11 years of owning him but could possibly be happy to carry a child again with not too much problem.

He’s great to handle on the ground with no vices and will give you a laugh now and again. Good with farrier, dentist and vet.

He deserves a great home.

 

Problems

Has not been ridden much in 11 years but has been backed and occasionally had a child led around on him. Will come with saddle and bridle and can provide grooming equipment.

Health Issues

Some history of laminitis but this is well managed with carefully restricted grazing.

Ideal Home

Would make a lovely companion home or for children to enjoy grooming and looking after. Could be happy to carry a child.
