Helen was the winner the Horses4Homes raffle a while ago and on Tuesday this week she collected her prize! A day at Carl Hester’s yard. Carl is the patron of Horses4Homes and we would like to thank him very much for offering his time and enabling Helen to visit himself and the world famous horses.
This is what Helen had to say about the day
“Carl put on a brilliant 3 hour demonstration, with horses aged from 4 to 10 being ridden for us, while Carl explained the work he does with them. The session finished up with Carl himself riding Nip Tuck. It was amazing to see all the horses in action, and the training carried out at the different stages of their development.
The yard is beautiful and the way it’s run and the horses trained is really impressive, you can see they are all very happy and relaxed. The fact the horses are able to live out and hack regularly, as well as train is lovely.
Please can you extend our thanks to Carl for letting us join in his demo day. It was a real pleasure to meet him instead if just looking from afar.”
